1. Where are you located?
We are located at the spectacular Phranang Peninsula on the Andaman coast, surrounded by sheer cliffs that rise from the sea and surrounding landscape. Accessible only by sea, guests arrive at the resort after a short, exhilarating speedboat trip from Krabi pier.

2. How far away is the airport?
Krabi International Airport is located just 23 kilometers from the resort (approximately 25 minutes drive to the pier).

3. Is the area safe for foreigners?
Yes, Krabi and surroundings are considered a safe place for tourists of any nationality.

4. What is the climate like in the area?
Krabi has two climate seasons: 'hot and dry' from November to April, and 'cool and wet' from May to October. The word 'cool' might be a bit misleading: the average temperature seldom drops below 26 degrees Celsius. The separation between the two seasons isn't always clear-cut: it might well rain in November, and it might be dry in May. The months with the most hours of sunshine are March and April.

5. Which areas, beaches and sights are worth visiting during our stay?
Our resort is situated right on three of the most spectacular, sandy white beaches of Krabi. Directly from our doorstep, guests can enjoy rock climbing on the steep cliffs, kayaking through thick mangrove forests, hiking nature trails to a waterfall, scuba diving at our in-house diving center, or learning the art of Thai cooking during one of our famous cooking classes.

6. How close is the hotel from nearby attractions?
The bustling island of Phuket is just a 3-hours drive away.

7. What is deposit policy on my reservation?
Credit card must be provided and an authorization form signed to confirm the reservation.

8. Do you offer special group rates?
Yes, we certainly do. Please contact sales@rayavadee.com if you would like us to provide you with a special quotation for a group.

9. What forms of payment are accepted to pay for my room?
We accept all major credit cards, as well as cash payments. Personal cheques are not accepted.

10. Do on-line bookings require immediate payment?
No; just the credit card information to secure the booking.

12. How long does it take to receive a response to my booking?
You will receive a response from our attentive reservations department within 24 hours after making your booking.

13. Do you have an early departure fee?
Early check out will be charged at one night’s cancellation from Jan 11-Dec 23 and for the full period of the booking during the peak period of Dec 24-Jan 11.

14. I have questions about my bill. Who do I call?

15. Our children will be with us. Do they stay free?
   • Children less than 7 years are welcome to share a bed with their parents on a complimentary basis.
      Daily breakfast is provided free of charge.
   • Children between the ages of 7 and 12 are welcome to share a bed with their parents on a complimentary basis. Breakfast will
     be charged at Baht 500++/child/day.
   • We would recommend a maximum of 2 children sharing basis per pavilion.
   • One rollaway bed may be provided in each pavilion at the rate of Baht 2,160++/child/night.
   • Complimentary baby cot is available upon request.

16. Do children receive discount rates?
Please see the Child Policy notes above.

17. What time is your Check-in and Check-out time?
Check in is at 14:00hrs and check out at 12:00 noon.

18. Do you accommodate Late Check-out?
Yes, subject to availability.

20. What recreational amenities does Rayavadee offer?
Our resort has a vast array of recreational amenities, to keep even the most demanding guest entertained at all times.
We offer multiple sea excursions, such as our popular Phi Phi Island Discovery, our mystical Phang Nga Bay Adventure, our snorkeling trips to Poda and Chicken Island, and our tour to the gorgeous scenery of Bamboo Island.
If you like overland excursions, then we can also offer you almost limitless possibilities. Our Touch of Thailand tour introduces you to the Thai elephant, or make a tour to the Klong Thom Emerald Pool and Hotspring, or explore thick rainforest during our Khao Sok Jungle Adventure.

You can exchange all major currencies at the Cashier in our reception area.

We provide various activities for guests such as visiting beautiful islands by speedboat, kayaking, scuba diving, rock climbing, learning the art of Thai cooking and visiting attractive natural spots. Our water sports center lends kayaks, a Hobie cat and windsurf boards to guests free of charge. Tennis and squash are available at the fitness center.

30. What is the cost to travel by shuttle? Are reservations required?
Guests can join arriving and departing guests on the resort’s transfer boat free of charge. Other shuttle arrangements are charged according to the distance and the destination in question.

31. Does the hotel offer allergy-friendly guest rooms?
No, we do not have special rooms available for guests with serious allergies.

32. How many additional guests can stay in the room?
A third adult can be accommodated on a rollaway bed. Up to two children can share a pavilion with their parents.

33. Do you have room service and what are the hours?
Our hotel offers a full room service menu, and this service is available around the clock.

34. Do you have high speed Internet access in the guest rooms? If so, are there charges?
Yes, the charge is THB 400 per day.

35. Do you have fitness facilities?
Yes, there is a fitness room, tennis court and an indoor squash court.

36. What type of fitness equipment is available?
